AVT (Advanced Vision Technology) has underlined its commitment to customer-centric service, faster response times, and enhanced technical support across the Americas with the opening of its new regional headquarters and demonstration center in Atlanta, Georgia, USA.

The facility, which is now fully operational, serves as both a centralized hub for operations across North and Latin America and a strategic center of excellence. It houses a fully equipped customer demo and training suite showcasing the latest inline print inspection and color accuracy innovations.

“Following on from a successful 2025 in which we really established ourselves as a standalone company, returning to Atlanta represents a return to our roots,” says Juan Da Silva, president, AVT Americas. “More importantly, it allows us to better serve our customers with faster response, improved communication, and a more hands-on approach to support.

“The Atlanta location has been strategically selected due to its proximity to a high concentration of flexible packaging companies, major industry partners, and key customers,” he adds. “It also means we have access to one of the world’s busiest international airports, enabling rapid logistics and travel across the Americas as we continue to offer customers a faster and more efficient service.”

Centralized Support

The new headquarters includes storage facilities that consolidates inventory previously held across multiple locations, including the United States, Mexico, and Brazil. By centralizing its parts and systems inventory, AVT immediately responds to customer needs and avoids critical interruptions to production.

“We now manage our own inventory directly,” notes Da Silva. “If a customer experiences downtime, we can immediately dispatch the required parts, reducing delays and ensuring faster recovery.”

State-of-the-art center

A key highlight of the new facility is its advanced demo center. This feature provides customers with hands-on access to the latest AVT technologies. The center also features systems such as the AVT Argus and Helios systems and its SpectraLab color accuracy solutions. AVT enables customers to experience live demonstrations, application testing, and performance validation.

“The demo center enables us to deliver comprehensive on-site and virtual customer training sessions, product demonstrations and to also host trials, webinars, and educational programs,” explains Da Silva. “With this initiative, we are addressing a long-standing customer need for more comprehensive training and knowledge transfer.

“Training has long been a key focus for us,” he adds. “We have introduced structured remote training programs for before, during, and after the installation process, ensuring customers feel confident and supported at every stage.”

The new Atlanta HQ also acts as a centralized coordination point for all AVT service operations. While field service engineers remain strategically located across the region for rapid on-site support, all service management is now streamlined through a single hub.

“This unified approach delivers one central contact point for all customers, ensuring faster coordination and issue resolution and consistent service standards across geographic regions,” says Da Silva. “In addition, we have expanded our support coverage to align with customers’ local working hours across all US time zones to ensure full-day support, regardless of location. We have moved from a fragmented structure to a single, unified team, all dedicated to solving the customer’s problem quickly.”

Adding to the team

Alongside these infrastructure improvements, AVT has strengthened its team by investing in highly qualified service professionals and enhancing internal training programs. The company has also introduced proactive customer engagement initiatives, with service engineers maintaining regular contact with customers beyond issue resolution.

“The feedback from the market has been extremely positive,” comments Da Silva. “Customers are noticing the difference, not just in how quickly we respond, but in how we communicate and support their business. The new Atlanta headquarters ensures AVT is positioned to support the growing demand for advanced inspection solutions across the Americas, particularly in regions experiencing increased manufacturing investment and expansion. By combining centralized operations, enhanced training capabilities, and a renewed focus on customer experience, AVT is delivering on its stated goal to set a new standard for service in the print inspection industry.”
